At Think Twice, we pride ourselves on running a true circular economy that transforms second-hand clothing into life-altering community development across Kenya. Through our charitable arm, Humana Second-hand Fundraising Projects, retail our proceeds are funneled directly into vital social initiatives on the ground. These funds provide critical school scholarships and daily nutritious meals for vulnerable youth at the Maisha Mema Children’s Home, alongside donating essential infrastructure like hospital furniture to local healthcare facilities. Our commitment extends far beyond retail through grassroots community engagement, including local environmental clean-ups and running the Think Twice Football Community Group.

Maisha Mema Partnership
At Think Twice, we believe second-hand clothes do more than offer affordable fashion they serve as a global engine for long-term social development. By recirculating roughly 2,000 tonnes of clothing every year, Think Twice directly funds sustainable initiatives that strengthen Kenyan communities, protect the environment, and break the cycle of poverty.
Through our retail operations, we allocate 3 Million KES monthly to vital partnership programs across education, healthcare, sustainable agriculture, and community upliftment. At the heart of this impact is our core partnership with the Maisha Mema Child Sponsorship Program, which powers the Maisha Mema Home in Tigoni to offer secure shelter, medical care, and a loving family environment for vulnerable youth. Additionally, our support sustains the Soweto Slums Clubhouse in Kayole—a safe daily study haven that serves over 200 warm plates of food to students every single day—while providing Full Education Support through complete tuition sponsorships spanning primary school all the way through university degrees.
